Camping this weekend was super fun. There could have been a few less
mosquitoes though. Maybe I am spoiled, but I hate hate hate bugs flying around me and I REALLY hate hate hate bugs biting me. It was super nice and HOT the whole time we were there. We hiked a bit and chilled a bit. And for car camping at a state park, it really wasn't very crowded, so that was nice. When we got there Friday evening it was ridiculously windy. Kind of awesome though. Around 1030 at night we walked over to the lake and just stood in the wind for a while. It came in gusts with periods of still in between. Some of the gusts were so strong and long that you had to lean your body into it in order to not be blown across the park. Such an awesome feeling.
Chris and I always have the most fun when we go camping together. We pretty much have the most fun when we do anything together. I suppose that's lucky for us. :)
Anyway, here's a few pics of the weekend. Not a lot, because it seems that most of the best moments are either not possible to capture on film...OR...we forget to try.

This is a closer pic of Deep Lake. So rad, it literally dropped off into an abyss.

This was Lenora Lake, on the way home.

There's more, but like I said, we kind of suck at remembering to actually use the camera.
Oh, and here was a bug that we found under the tent as we were packing up to leave...
