Lazy yet productive

I had another day of sleeping until noon and drinking coffee, eating lemon bars, and sitting in front of the computer until 2. I suppose though, really, sleeping until noon is reasonable with my type of schedule. I'll be staying up as late as possible tonight, hopefully until 5 or 6 am, because I am back to work tomorrow night.

Anyways, I have been crafty today. In the afternoon I made an AWESOME salad: tomato, corn, and avocado. SO YUMMY! The rest of the day was filled with knitting. I finished the beanie I was working on. Almost had a tragedy towards the last few rows...I pulled the yarn to tighten it a bit, as I had been doing the whole time, and it broke! Yikes. I ended up just tying it back together, and it really doesn't show. But geez! I panicked for a moment. Here it is....This one shows the color more acurately...

And here's the progress on the purpley ribbed scarf...I like how the color pattern is turning out.

I also started Chris's more manly fingerless mitts......which Gordy seems to approve of...
But I think she likes the beanie the best.
