I scored most of the night off. I sure earned it though...the 4 hours (that actually turned into 5) that I worked was non-stop BUSY. And I'm talking physically as well. I had plenty of large lumps of patients to move in order to clean up poo and do some nasty dressing changing. Just another day in the glamorous life of a nurse.
BUT
it was totally worth it!
Now I am free for an entire week. I just threw a bunch of stuff in the crock pot for some stew to bring camping. I'm planning on making some cornbread to go with it. I am also planning on some cinnamon bread for french toast as well as some blackberry crumb bars for a treat! :)
