It's hot!

I have no idea how hot it ended up getting today...but it's 1am and we still have all the windows open.

Because of the heat, it was a pretty lazy day. Spent quite a bit of time in the backyard. Very nice back there with all the trees. In the evening we BBQ'd and ate brats with cream cheese and homemade sauerkraut and tomato, corn, and avocado salad. Super YUM!

My knitting today was fairly unproductive. I managed to screw up somehow, on the mitts I was working on for Chris, and ended up having to frog them. Which, I am actually okay with, because I really wasn't 100% happy with the way the seed stitch was looking like with the particular yarn I was using. So I started a different pair with that yarn, which will just be ribbed on the edges and then stockinette stitch for the main part. Almost one cuff is completed so far...I think the other pattern would look better with a yarn that was smoother. Oh well, live and learn.
