Unfair allotment of time

There never seems to be enough time to do all of the things I want to. I am always forced to pick and choose, to let certain things fall on the back burner. So many knitting, sewing, and crochet projects I want to make. So many new crafts I want to learn. So many places to hike. So many flowers, trees, and shrubs to plant and trim. So many books to read. So many things to bake. So many places to travel. So many people to talk to.

It's almost irritating at times. Because time seems to go by way too fast. I try to appreciate it. I try to "smell the roses." But then I turn around and another year has passed. I will be 37 years old this year. It's almost unbelievable.

But I do appreciate the things I have. I have many, many, MANY great things in my life. Maybe that is the price that must be paid. "Time flies when you're having fun." No wonder my life seems to whiz by so quickly.

P.S. I cannot stop making these ribbed hats...
