Creating goodness

I have been going "mixer crazy" for the last couple of days. I made 3 different kinds of cookies: chocolate chip, treasure, and molasses. I also made pizza dough. This is the first time I have ever made homemade pizza. It turned out pretty good, but first lesson learned...use WAY more cheese! Still looks (and tasted) delicious though...
I also finished another ribbed cap, but for me this time. It's in the same yarn as my last cap....since I have an endless ball of it. I like it a lot.
No, this is not one of the projects I said I would be working on right now. But I wanted to get a little bit more practice with the circular and double pointed needles before I attempt my super awesome-to-be socks. I tried to start the wrist warmers I wanted to work on, but they are done solely in double pointed needles and I was a bit flustered trying to hold them all and still see what I was knitting. I'm almost ready.

On another note, we watched the movie "I Am Legend" last night, with Will Smith. The first part of the movie was OUTSTANDING. I am a huge fan of Mr. Smith and his acting did not disappoint. But then suddenly the movie was over. It was almost as if they were trying to hurry up and finish it when they could have went on for another hour in order to make the movie good. I just learned that this movie was a 3rd remake of a novel written in 1954, which I plan on reading....hoping to fill in some holes that the movie left wide and gaping.

In other news, I finished reading "Water for Elephants" which was fantastic. Went to book club, which was actually just Megan, Christine and I. We talked about the book for a short while and filled the rest of the evening with wine and great conversation. I really, really love those girls. I like the book club because it motivates me to read things that I otherwise might not even attempt. Wow, I forgot how much fun it is to read for FUN. :)
