I currently have in the oven, my very first ever attempt at bread! Nothing fancy bread, just plain old white bread. The mixing and kneading and rising and rolling and rising again parts are done. Now it is baking and smelling delicious!! I have the butter softened and ready for immediate spreading.
Yesterday kind of sucked. I woke up with a headache. And not just any headache, it was a squeezing of my eyes that made me constantly dizzy and nauseous. Anything other than lying perfectly still with my eyes shut was unthinkable. I had plans to go to Marrakesh with Megan and Christine and our SOs, but I had to cancel because of it. Lame lame lame. So I spent the whole day sleeping or lying on the couch or bed. Luckily I have more than just the weekend off, so wasting a day isn't that horrific. Today I feel much better. Not 100% normal, but pretty good compared to yesterday.
And I still have 4 more days off after today.
