Weekend-o-fun

Chris's birthday, and the rest of the 4 day weekend, was super fun.

We went out to breakfast when I got home from work Friday morning. Then later, after I had slept for a while, we went to good old Sorelli's. Been a while since we've been there. Chris was craving hot chicken wings, and according to him theirs are superior.

Saturday was BBQ/camping at Tara's aunt and uncle's property in Arlington. We all stuffed our faces, drank a lot, and had tons of fun. Here's a few pics that were stolen from Tara and Leann:If you look down the hill in this next one, you can see where we camped and also had a fire. That lawnmower, with the addition of a trailer, helped us cart our stuff back and forth.
This is the morning after, not quite as pretty...
Sunday was a lazy day. But we did BBQ some franks and then later made delicious s'mores over the fire pit. I love hanging out in our backyard, very comfortable. And my succulents that I can't remember the name of, are getting ready to bloom. I snapped a pic of the one with the most buds, soon to be cute little purple flowers:
Monday was the laziest day of all. For some reason, probably because the partying caught up with me, I felt like ass all day. So I napped a lot. Kendal and E came over for a short while, but unfortunately we have no pics. Duh. We are super lame at capturing moments. I got a cute pair of Kendal-knit fingerless mitts! Woo HOO!

Tomorrow I am meeting Sev for coffee and knitting.

Of course, since I napped so much today, I am still awake. Just working on my unfinished knitting projects. I am going to try to finish these and some of my other unfinished projects before work on Thursday. Or at the very least, not start any other new projects. :)

that is a great tee-shirt!

Kenneth got me started on hot wings and I never thought I'd love them so. Fire on the Mountain, in Portland, has a billion different kinds of sauces for their wings. Now looking for the LA equivalent.
