I never thought I would ever feel moved by a political speech. It was so indescribable, to be in the midst of the election day celebration on the streets of Capitol Hill. Surrounded by strangers who were all cheering and smiling and high fiving each other for one common reason. Dancing and singing with a revived sense of hope for America and its people. Regardless of what is accomplished by our new president in the next 4 years, history itself has changed. We will never be the same and its a good thing.
I feel lucky to be alive and to say that I was a part of something great.
