Sweaters

I am making my first adult sized sweater. The pattern is Wrenna from the book French Girl Knits. Here's what the finished product is suppose to look like......and here's what I've got so far...It's a pretty quick knit because of the super bulky yarn. The yarn is Lana Grande by Cascade Yarns.

I also have another sweater project at the ready. I'll probably cast on later today. I like having a few (million) different projects I can work on...you never know what you're gonna be in the mood for! Anyways, this one is one I found on Ravelry called Mud Season. Just a simple basic design, but for my first couple sweaters I am looking more for success rather than difficulty. Although, I really like the look of this one......and I'll be making it with this...The yarn is called Riverstone by Louet and it's a bulky weight wool.

Why am I making sweaters when summer is almost upon us? Who knows. Who cares?

I am also working up the nerve to do some lace work. I have a couple different shawl patterns in mind......and a pile of lace weight yarn...Hmmm....green seems to be my favorite color these days. This will be my first time working with this particular yarn weight. I figure it will be one of those projects that will most likely span until next summer, or maybe further.

Wish me luck!
