Long weekend

Chris and I had a super fun weekend in Oregon! We spent Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon in Manzanita at Kitty's parent's place. It was a beautiful home and perfect weather and delicious food and fancy wine and fantastic company.

We spent Sunday night at Hotel Vintage Plaza in Portland. We hit up a bar/arcade and played Smash TV and drank Miller High Life. Then we went to Mary's Club down the street. We drank more beers right by the stage and tipped naked girls.

Sunday morning we went to the Everett Street Bistro and had the YUMMIEST of breakfasts. Chris had corned beef hash and I had these little pancake balls that were almost like cream puffs sans the cream, covered in fresh strawberries and blueberries and whipped cream. Like I said before...YUM! After that we just wandered around before heading back north. All in all I'd say it was a very eclectic weekend! :)

Of course, I had to check out Knit Purl in Portland. I bought a sock pattern and some sock yarn and some luxrious needles... I am currently on row 2 of my very first pair of socks. YAY!

Oh, and did I mention that I finished my Champagne Sweater???Oh man, I am so proud. Yeah, it was a simple pattern, but it looks SO cute on!!! I'm still working on the big chunky sweater...I had to redo some of it and got a bit frustrated with it so I've been working on other things.
