Our campsite at Lagoon Campground. 
We were the only people at this particular campground aside from the hosts. It was great!
We stayed here for 2 nights. Monday we walked to the beach, which was probably about a mile and a half from our campground.This was the trail we took, it went past a lagoon that was directly behind our campsite.

Made us feel like we walked a lot further than we actually did. But it was worth it.

Well, maybe not the only ones...

We were at the beach for a few hours. We did see one couple. The woman asked us if we had seen any buddies yet. For some reason, both Chris and I knew she was talking about the sea lions. At that point we hadn't, but later we did see some playing in the waves. I loved that she called them buddies.The actual dunes were a bit down the road from our campground. Later that day we drove down to check them out. We managed to get to the top of one...barely.
Doesn't look like much does it?But by the top we were panting and our legs were wobbly. Here was the view from the top.
And then back down.
This was much, much easier.We left Lagoon about 10am on Tuesday morning and headed south for the Redwoods.
