Maria: Mountlake Terrace, Washington, United States; I am married to the love of my life and best friend of all time, Chris. I am an RN at Swedish Visiting Nurses. I have a hard time describing myself, but I'd say that I don't consider myself your "typical" girl. I am far from perfect, but I spend my time trying to be kind to others and learning as much as I can from those around me. Being a jerk to people takes way more energy and nothing good ever comes from it. I am often impatient and overly critical, 2 things I consistently try to work on but so far have never changed. I feel that I am finally at a place in my life where, for the most part, I am comfortable with who I am. I spent many years in my youth, agonizing over trying to appear cool. I have decided that that takes way too much effort, and would much rather spend my time trying to be happy. I am addicted to yarn and fiber.
