A lovely holiday

We hosted Xmas at our house this year. Luckily we have a tiny family otherwise this would be impossible. But even with our tiny group we had a huge feast! We maximized our crockpot-ness by doing a chicken in one and some pot roast in the other. The chicken was so deliciously perfect that it literally fell off the bones when we took it out of the pot. We also had baked macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole. Not the green bean casserole made with cream of mushroom soup and shoestring onions, but green bean casserole made entirely from scratch. Oh heaven! Thanks Chris!

After filling our bellies disgustingly full, we rocked the band/guitar hero for a while. Then later Chris and I made hot chocolate and watched Xmas movies.

Here are the knits I gifted...

A hat in UW colors for the hubby:
A pair of mitts for MIL:
A hat for Danny:
And a pair of mitts for Jessica:

And now I have already started another slouchy hat for me and am trying to decide which fingerless mitts to make out of some pretty Mochi Plus that is just waiting to keep my hands toasty.

Oh, and here was my Xmas present to myself....Seriously. Awesome. Boots.
